Lathrop Hall houses the departments of English, writing and rhetoric, the Core Program, University Studies Division, and the Writing and Speaking Center. Among the offices located here are the Center for Learning, Teaching, and Research, the Upstate Institute, Colgate's Max Shacknai COVE, the Office of National Fellowships and Scholarships, Sustainability, Equity and Diversity, International Student Services, and Administrative Advising.
