About this Event
ALANA Cultural Center, 13 Oak Dr, Hamilton, NY 13346, USA
Candice D'Meza is a Haitian American multidisciplinary artist, writer, actor and filmmaker. Her work focuses on the intertwining of grief and liberation and connecting issues of race, gender and sexuality with the larger context of African spiritual traditions and the metaphysical world. In this workshop, we will focus on using the written word to tell ancestral stories or as a way to deepen connections to one’s personal lineages.
Registration required: email Professor Humphrey, phumphrey@colgate.edu
