A collaborative workshop for anyone who would like to think practically about how to implement some form of alternative grading in their syllabi. This informal, drop-in, workshopping session is a time to brainstorm ideas, talk through example assignments or grading schemes, and look over syllabus ideas (your own or those of others). We’ll explore how the different flavors of alternative assessment (like ungrading, specifications grading, standards-based grading, and other forms of grading for equity) can be incorporated into courses. Bring your ideas, questions, and/or draft syllabus and stop by! We hope to see you then.
