Universal Teaching, Learning, and Design: Strategies For Your Online Teaching Toolkit

Courtney Plotts PhD, National Chair of the Council For At-Risk Student Education and Professional Standards, will speak with us about universal design and how to increase awareness and create welcoming online environments for nontraditional students.

This interactive and informative session will identify and highlight strategies to increase effective teaching and learning for all students across the human spectrum and considerations for diversity and equity. This session will focus on teaching and design strategies that maintain academic rigor while enhancing aspects of teaching, learning, and community in online spaces.
