Translation and Interpretation as Feminist Praxis

María Reimóndez is an author, translator, interpreter and feminist organizer. She has written more than nine novels, poetry, essays and young adult/children's literature in Galician, a minoritized but co-official language of the Spanish State; she has translated English-, Tamil- and German-language texts into Galician, and runs a non-profit feminist organization, Implicadas no Desenvolvemento. Reimónez will talk about minoritized languages and cultures, feminist translation and the importance of translation for global feminist politics.
