Thinking Media: Low-tech Entryways to Media Production
This session will serve as an introduction to and discussion of digital media and its thought processes, timelines, and different ways of working.
Through methods such as; illustration to augment writing or posters, looping animations as a base for audio narratives, field recording or oral history as a form of storytelling, students can begin to think about how to tell stories or convey research findings through time-based and visual media.
This workshop will be a presentation with examples followed by discussion and ideation about potential coursework.
