 f Weekend. This event - The Implications of AI on Entrepreneurship and Inno
 vation: New Business Opportunities and New Ways of Working - is open to any
 one from the Colgate community and will be livestreamed.\n\nGenerative AI’s
  underlying science isn’t new. But recent applications have caught the imag
 ination of entrepreneurs in industries from healthcare to agriculture.\n\nA
 I is now disrupting jobs and workflows in unprecedented ways\, suggesting i
 t must be carefully evaluated — both for its own opportunities and its capa
 city to help entrepreneurs build new businesses.\n\nThis is generative AI a
 s a force multiplier\, a time and money saver. While many technologies have
  been overhyped in recent years\, the profound implications of generative A
 I might not yet be fully appreciated.\n\nAt the same time\, generative AI s
 uffers from a number of built-in biases and limitations. Recently\, industr
 y leaders have even been sounding the alarm about potentially existential t
 hreats posed by this revolutionary technology. Our panel will strive to add
 ress both the upside and downside of generative AI\, with particular attent
 ion to the implications it has for entrepreneurship and innovation.\n\nEnjo
