What technologies best support your learning? How do you curate web-based learning resources to support your coursework? This session will be a “knowledge cafe”* designed to encourage students to think about these questions and explore digital tools that might be used to enhance learning. Facilitated conversation will encourage students to share knowledge of their preferred digital tools and how they are used to support their coursework here at Colgate. Through a series of brief demonstrations of example tools, facilitators will guide students to think critically about the technology they use to study and complete assignments. An open collection of tools will be made available as a shared resource.
*A knowledge cafe - small facilitated conversations and lightning round demos of digital tools for knowledge sharing. Students are strongly encouraged to bring their devices: laptops, smartphones, tablets. (Chromebooks are available to borrow at the ITS Help Desk.)
