About this Event
Cross-Languages Teaching Strategies and Approaches: Practical Techniques for Second Language Learners.
Adaptable for All Languages & Proficiency Levels.
Join us to explore, apply, and refine practices!
This workshop introduces pedagogical approaches to enhance the teaching and learning of a second language. Drawing on examples from Arabic language instruction, the session will introduce adaptable, student-centered techniques focused on effective feedback, interactive grammar teaching, and structured models for final review.
Although anchored in Arabic pedagogy, these approaches are intentionally flexible and can be transferred to a wide range of languages and proficiency levels. Ultimately, the workshop aims to bring together instructors from across departments to critically explore, apply, and refine practices that enhance the language-learning experience.
Co-sponsored by Division of University Studies.
Refreshments will be provided.
All are welcome.
Presented by Amany Elsaeid Ahmed, senior lecturer of Arabic, Middle Eastern and Islamic studies.
