Tales From Fieldwork

Join Anthropology and Sociology students and faculty panelists as they discuss their summer fieldwork experiences.  Fieldwork is at the heart of all anthroplogical (and lots of sociological) work. This is one reason why many sociology and anthropology courses include fieldwork excercises and all anthropology majors are required to complete a more significant “Fieldwork Requirement”.

Listen to SOAN students and professors talk about some of their own fieldwork experiences. Learn about what we do when “we go to the field.” If you are studying anthropology, this panel will shed light on one of the major’s key requirements. Lunch will be served.
