A session to understand what goes into raising high quality, great tasting grass-fed and grass finished beef on a local Upstate NY farm, and how it varies from the industrial scale beef that is available in most grocery stores. Learn the art of breeding cattle to do well on a “grass only” diet and the science behind raising the cows to be happy and healthy without chemical fertizers, growth hormones and growth antibiotics so prevelant in America’s protein food streams. Also, learn about some of the health benefits of eating grass fed and finished beef.
