The ALANA Cultural Center and IGD Council present the first Student Leader Inter-Group Dialogue training! Intergroup Dialogue is a research-based approach to face-to-face facilitated conversation between members of two or more social identity groups that strives to create new levels of understanding, relating, and action" (Zuniga 2003). Upon completion of the two-day training, students will receive an IGD Experience Training Certificate, Part I. This training is the first (not all) part of being a student IGD facilitator, but it will equip you with a foundational set of tools for dialogue. 


Friday, February 16: Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) training - Day 1 from 4:30–7 pm (dinner will be provided)
Saturday, February 17: Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) training - Day 2 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. (breakfast and lunch will be provided)

** students are required to attend both days to complete the training
 This training is open to Colgate students who are (or plan to be) student leaders on and/-or outside the campus. There are limited seats and so this February session will be on a first come, first served basis.  Deadline to sign up: February 12 at 11:59 pm. The link to sign up.
