Student curator tours of Talk soon, America take place at 2 p.m. on February 20; March 6 and 27; April 11 and 17; and May 1 and highlight the voices and perspectives of the seven student curators behind the spring exhibition at Picker Art Gallery.

Drawing from the collections of the Picker Art Gallery and the Longyear Museum of Anthropology, the exhibition examines the complex legacy of the United States, including the foundational ideas shaping national identity, the relationships and sense of belonging formed within American communities, and the ways the land has shaped and been shaped by its inhabitants. Conceived as a correspondence with the nation, Talk soon, America asks a central question on the eve of the United States’ 250th year: what does it mean to be living in the United States today?
