The presentation discusses the program of genocide carried out against the Uyghur people in China’s Xinjiang region, also known as East Turkestan, since 2017. It involves large state efforts and expenses in surveillance, internment, forced labor, mass family and child separations, as well as the destruction of cultural monuments and heritage.
