Join us as we celebrate Roald Dahl Day in Hamilton!

Roald Dahl Day is an annual global celebration of Roald Dahl’s marvelous stories, characters and worlds. Roald Dahl Day is celebrated every year on his birthday, the 13th of September, and people all over the world come together to celebrate the magical worlds he brought to life.

There will be a variety of activities for all ages at different times and locations throughout the village. Come to just one, or come to them all! Admission to the day’s programs and activities is free.

Saturday, September 14, 2024

• 10 a.m. — Colgate Bookstore, 3 Utica St.: Stop in at the Colgate Bookstore for crafts! Make Matilda ships and enjoy special chocolate cake pops from Maxwell's Chocolates & Ice Cream.
• 11 a.m. — Arts at the Palace, 19 Utica St.: Head over to the Palace Theater for a live sing-along with Jenni Larchar of Jenni’s Music Studio! Kids of all ages are welcome to sing and dance along.
• 12 p.m. — Hamilton Movie Theater, 7 Lebanon St.: Next, it’s time for lunch and a movie! Enjoy free pizza from Oliveri’s Pizzeria while watching a free showing of "Matilda" (1996, PG), sponsored by the Colgate Bookstore.
