In this session, you will evaluate an existing course assignment by identifying student learning barriers and providing one new opportunity for engagement, representation or expression. Discover how 'Plus-One' Thinking fosters inclusive and accessible learning environments by adding that extra step to accommodate diverse needs. After this short session you will have identified at least one alteration to an existing assignment that will aim to make it more engaging, accessible, and tailored to diverse learners. This will take place as a Zoom meeting. Participants will receive the link to join the meeting via their confirmation email.
