Ping Chong: All Islands Connect Under Water

Ping Chong is an internationally renowned theatre artist and National Medal of Arts recipient whose work embraces social justice, identity, and multiculturalism. His interview-based, documentary-theatre work with Syracuse communities — namely, TALES FROM THE SALT CITY and CRY FOR PEACE:VOICE FROM THE CONGO — were co-created with Kyle Bass, Gretchen Hoadley Burke ‘81 EndowedChair for Regional Studies at the Upstate Institute and the Associate Artistic Director of Syracuse Stage.
