What is a "good life," and how do we obtain it? How can you use your time at Colgate to strive toward a "good life"?

In the next Passion Project Series session, Amari Simpson, director of equity and diversity at Colgate, will talk about the values cultivated during his time as an undergraduate student at Middlebury College.

In Simpson's current role, he provides strategic oversight for staff and student initiatives related to diversity. Additionally, he addresses issues related to discrimination and harassment as well as compliance with hiring, including affirmative action and equal employment laws and policies.

Simpson has worked in student activities, alumni relations, and other education roles for over a decade. He received his bachelors degree in psychology, and global health and education studies minors from Middlebury College, his masters degree in curriculum and teaching secondary science from Boston University, and his doctoral degree in education policy, organization, and leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
