The Passion Projects Series aims to create space for members of the Colgate community to share the things in life they are passionate about, from free expression to birdsong, in a less formal setting.

Lauren Philbrook is an associate professor of psychological and brain sciences at Colgate. Her research focus is in understanding the development of children’s biobehavioral regulation as it relates to health, academic skills, and adjustment. Her recent work is particularly focused on how child regulation is related to adjustment in contexts of risk, including family and socioeconomic adversity.
