Orange Shirt Day is held on September 30 of every year. It is a day to remember the boarding school experience of Indigneous students in North America. There will be two events held this day.

There will be a remembrance event held at ALANA at 11:30am-1:00pm led by Nicole Carvell. All Colgate community members are invited to participate in this event. We will decorate cutouts of orange shirts with how we remember loved ones who have passed and will discuss the importance of remembering. Nicole will also explain how September 30 became Orange Shirt Day. The orange shirts will be displayed in various locations around the campus. 

Lunch will be provided.
