Join University Museums staff members, students, and invited guests as we discuss hot topics in the museum field. Everyone is welcome to attend. Drop in when you can and leave when you need. Lunch will be provided.

A number of museum practices have increasingly come under public scrutiny, spawning a number of activist movements, such as Strike MoMa, to change the relationship between museum institutions and their audiences, staff, and boards. Brynn Hatton, Kindler Family Assistant Professor in Global Contemporary Art, and University Museums staff will facilitate a discussion about how activism is reshaping museums.

Guests from off campus are required to register in advance and follow all campus protocols pertaining to COVID-19. Please register with Nick West at by Tuesday, November 23, if you would like to attend.
