The Colgate University’s ALANA Cultural Center hosts its second annual Social Justice Summit on Saturday, January 28, 2023 as part of the 2023 MLK Jr. Week celebration. The summit aims to bring together students, student leaders, student advisors, social justice change agents, and their perspectives to explore opportunities around the theme “Stronger Together.” We seek to explore the nature of critical questioning and relevant actions while providing avenues for addressing social, educational, and global injustice. We are hoping to facilitate the empirical, conceptual, critical, and analytical contributions from students, student leaders, and change agents related to strategies for becoming effective advocates and social justice change agents.
