Ho Mind, Brain, and Behavior Initiative's 2025-2026 speaker series "Biased Minds, Biased Brains, Biased Behaviors" kicks off with a lecture by Maria Antoniak, assistant professor of computer science at the University Colorado - Boulder, titled, "Three Challenges for AI: Culture, Privacy, Creativity"
Professor Antoniak's research focuses on natural language processing and cultural analytics. She develops and critically evaluates computational methods to analyze how language reflects culture and society, particularly in online communities and healthcare settings.
