About this Event
Living Writers presents Jenny Offill. The program is free and open to everyone.
The first novel that Jenny Offill wrote, Last Things, was named a New York Times Notable Book and finalist for the LA Times First Book Award. The Times included her second novel, Dept. of Speculation, on its list of the 10 best books of the year. Her third novel, Weather, was lauded by the Boston Globe as “tiny in size but immense in scope, radically disorienting yet reassuringly humane, strikingly eccentric and completely irresistible.” She is the co-editor of two anthologies, Money Changes Everything and The Friend Who Got Away; the author of a number of children’s books; and the subject of a New York Times Magazine feature, “How to Write Fiction when the Planet is Falling Apart.” Currently, she is a Visiting Writer in Residence at Bard College.
If you cannot join us in person and would like to attend via Zoom, registration is required. Register for Living Writers 11/17
