Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah

Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah’s recently released debut story collection, Friday Black, has been praised as “an excitement and a wonder: strange, crazed, urgent and funny.” Mr. Adjei-Brenyah won the Breakwater Review fiction contest, and his work has been selected by Guernica, Compose, and Gravel, among others. A graduate of Syracuse University’s graduate program in creative writing, Mr. Adjei-Brenyah was the Olive B. O’Connor fellow in fiction at Colgate University in 2016-17.
