About this Event
Alexander Chee’s debut novel, Edinburgh, won the Michener/Copernicus Prize in fiction as well as the Asian American Writers Workshop Literary Award. It was followed by The Queen of the Night, which The Washington Post described as “extraordinarily beautiful and dramatic, a brilliant performance filled with glittering scenes.” How to Write an Autobiographical Novel, an essay collection, came out to critical acclaim in 2018. Among Mr. Chee’s many honors are a Whiting Award and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. He is an associate professor of English at Dartmouth College.
