How does life in snow and ice survive? Algae are the primary producers that interact with other life forms. Have climate change and global warming affected this habitat? Why would NASA be interested? Why should these organism be studied and who is doing this?

Presenter: Ron Hoham is Colgate Professor of Biology, Emeritus who taught introductory biology, plant evolution, and courses on algae and macrophytes. He also the edited the Snow Ecology book.
