LifeLong Learning Program- "SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19: What have we learned, and what should we have known?"

This seminar will largely focus on the basic virology and epidemiology of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. It will also contextualize the current pandemic with regard to previous pandemics and emerging infectious diseases, and discuss the factors that lead to the emergence of SARS-CoV-2; what could have been done to prevent it from emerging; and what should be done going forward.

Facilitator: Geoff Holm
