LifeLong Learning Program- "Political Update for the 2020 Presidential Election"

The upcoming Presidential election will represent a turning point in US history, regardless of who wins.  The American electorate will either validate the values advanced by Donald Trump's consequential presidency . . . or repudiate them.  This course will place the 2020 election in its proper historical context, and offer various approaches from Political Science that will allow us to understand its significance and anticipate its outcome.

Facilitator: Timothy A. Byrnes is the Charles A. Dana Professor of Political Science at Colgate University. He has written or co-written six books, most recently “Reverse Mission: Transnational Religious Communities and the Making of US Foreign Policy.” He is a past winner of the Colgate Alumni Board's Award for Outstanding Teaching.
