LifeLong Learning Program- Millers Mills Ice Harvest: Its Context Through Three Centuries

A brief history of the ice industry and its integration into the life and economy of rural New York in the last half of the 19th and first half of the 20th century, with descriptions of the practice as it survives in the Millers Mills Ice Harvest Festival in the 21st century.

Facilitator: Tom Huxtable is a lifelong area resident, who has been participating in the Millers Mills Ice Harvest most years since he was ten years old.
