Life Long Learning Program- Posters of World War I

2018 is the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. We will look back at the conflict through posters issued by the U.S. and other governments to promote their war efforts and associated causes such as recruiting, bond drives, food conservations and others. We will feature actual posters of Hopper’s collection as well as those from the archives of the Hamilton Historical Society.

Facilitator: David Hopper retired to Hamilton in 2010 after a 35-year career in the U.S. Foreign Service. Long a collector of vintage posters, Hopper’s collecting interests focus on World War I and on European and Asian travel.
