Please join us for the new Indigenous Authors Book Club. Every semester we will read a book by an Indigenous author to cultivate and promote Indigenous Knowledge Systems at Colgate. The first book we are reading is The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer. We will explore the idea of a gift economy and looking at examples in nature to learn how we can adapt practices in our own lives. The first 20 people to register will receive a free copy of the book!

Lunch will be provided.

Participants will earn a Sustainability Passport Program credit.

Cosponsored by Colgate RISE, Native American and Indigenous Students Alliance, Native American Studies Program, Office of Equity and Diversity, Office of Student Disability Services, and Office of Sustainability
