Add to calendarJoin us for this four-part workshop series led by Michael Steib P'23 — partner at Melitas Ventures and senior lecturer at Columbia University — covering three core topics: Understanding Financial Statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheets), Building a Business Plan, and Funding a Start-Up Company.
The series will run from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on three virtual dates: Feb. 17, Feb. 24, and March 3. There will be one in-person date: March 28.
Michael has nearly 30 years of global financial markets experience. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in Mergers & Acquisitions in London and then led Morgan Stanley’s European consumer investment research team. After nearly 20 years at Morgan Stanley in Europe, Michael relocated to New York where he initially worked at Credit Suisse and then at Artisan Partners, an investment management firm, where he specialized on global equities. For the past six years, Michael has been a partner at Melitas Ventures, a consumer-focused venture capital firm based in New York. Michael obtained his Masters of Business Administration at ESCP Europe, Paris.
