National First-Generation Day celebrates the accomplishments and resilience of first-generation students across the nation on Nov. 8, the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965.

As we approach National First-Generation Day, First@Colgate has curated a week filled with opportunities to reflect on the roots first-generation students put down on one's higher education journey, celebrate these accomplishments, and recognize the immense value first-gen students bring to the Colgate community.
