Are you interested in the Office of Sustainability Internship for the 2024-2025 Academic Year? Join sustainability staff and interns to learn about the application process, potential projects, and experience as an intern.

Colgate University’s Office of Sustainability employs between 10-14 paid student interns each year to engage in peer behavior change, oversee ongoing sustainability projects, and integrate sustainability in communities across campus. Interns join two internal committees each semester that may include Communications, Green Bikes, Sustainability-Representatives, Student Sustainability Council, Community Garden, Climate Conversations PHED, Waste & Recycling, and more. Depending on their committees, interns may hone skills in campus-wide data collection, peer behavior change, team project management, and sustainability communications. This internship offers the opportunity to develop professional skills while creating visible change on Colgate’s campus.

This internship is only available for rising sophomores (class of 2027) and juniors (class of 2026). Students of all experience levels and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
