The start of a new semester often brings a mix of opportunities, commitments, and competing demands. This mini-workshop provides an opportunity to step back, reflect on priorities, and develop a plan for the months ahead.

Drawing on the NCFDD resource Every Semester Needs a Plan, participants will have an opportunity to identify goals, consider how those goals align with available time and energy, and think intentionally about the balance among teaching, scholarship, service, and personal commitments. The session is designed to support thoughtful planning rather than prescribe a particular approach, and participants are encouraged to adapt the process to their own professional circumstances and priorities.
