This event is part of the Environmental Studies Brown Bag Series. The ENST 450 course focuses on community-based research at Colgate and in the Hamilton area. At this event, three groups will be presenting and will accept public questions.

  • Food2Energy /Computing Group - Assessing the logistical potential for Frank Dining Hall to bring organic waste to the Oneida-Herkimer Food2Energy facility.
  • Climate Resiliency Metrics Group - Determining what metrics can be used to evaluate Colgate's climate resilience in five categories: Health & Wellness; Social Equity & Governance; Infrastructure; Ecosystem Services; and Financial.
  • Village Parcels: Reforestation, Access, Recreation, and Use Group - Researching decision-making process and administrative stages for how the process of wetland restoration is approved and how maintenance of village parcels is enacted.

Hot wraps from Hamilton Whole Foods will be served with gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free options. Please bring your own reusable water bottle.
