 llenges with the presentation of LEED Certifications and related sustainab
 le building developments to the Colgate community.  In partnership with va
 rious peer institutions\, Colgate faculty\, and the student body\, we devi
 sed a list of potential methods for improving the marketing of LEED and re
 lated sustainable objectives and formalized recommendations for University
  implementation.  \n\nUnpacking the Problem\nEllie Myatt\, Juju Coleman\, 
 Max Walters\, Dave Thompson\, Quinn Beckwith\, Madison Cammarata\nEvery ye
 ar\, Colgate receives around 100\,000 packages\, creating substantial wast
 e. This project aims to understand current waste processes so we can help 
 improve packaging waste issues\, as well as improve recycling rates.\n\nTh
 inking Outside of the Container: Investigation of the ‘Gate to-Go Progra
 m\nCallie Dahler\,  Elle Laub\,  Kiki Montgomery\, Jack Mullen\, Graham St
 erns\, Marie York\nThis semester\, our team examined the 'Gate to Go reusa
 ble container program at Colgate University. In collecting data from the s
 tudent body\, staff\, and faculty regarding their habits and opinions abou
 t 'Gate to Go\, the team was able to gain a better understanding of why th
 e current program is underutilized and explore options to encourage greate
 r participation.\n\nThis event will count as one credit hour for the Susta
 inability Passport Program.\n\nHot wraps from Hamilton Whole Foods will be
  provided and will include vegan\, gluten-free\, and nut-free options. Ple
 ase bring your own reusable water bottle.
