Title: Enlisting Nature: The Drug War as Environmental Warfare
Brief Description: The biophysical environment in Colombia is the main "theatre" of operations for the U.S. sponsored war on drugs—coca, marijuana, and poppy are plants after all. But nature has also increasingly become the primary medium through which drug-related warfare is being waged.
