Come celebrate Earth Day by joining the Office of Sustainability for a 5K, starting at the Hamilton Village Green. Community members welcome!

Festival: The festival begins at 5:15 p.m. with live music from Shaun Kinney, tables from local nonprofits, and plenty of pre-race good vibes. Community Partners include Rogers Environmental Center, Southern Madison Heritage Trust, Hamilton Climate Action, Environmental Studies Community-based Research, Hamilton Public Library, and Colgate Community Garden.

Race: Register by April 21 to walk/run or volunteer! The race begins at 6 p.m. and the entry "fee" is a small item donation (clothing, household goods, etc.) to the Colgate Free Store or Worn Again Thrift Store. Reuse is sustainable!

Registration to run/walk here - encouraged by April 21. Walk-ups welcome.

Sign up to volunteer here.

The 5K is supported by the Hamilton Public Library, Students for Environmental Action, Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Shaw Wellness Institute, WRCU, and the Residential Commons. This event is part of the Office of Sustainability’s 13 Days of Green series leading up to Earth Day. View the 13 Days of Green schedule.
