About this Event
Join Brent Goldstein '89 as he shares tales and answers questions about his participation in the 2018 Tour Divide Mountain-Bike Race. The Tour Divide is an annual unsupported, off-road, mountain-bike race starting in Banff, Alberta, Canada and continuing down the wildlife infested Continental Divide to the US/Mexico border in Antelope Wells, New Mexico. There were no aid-stations, support vans, fancy hotels or guarantees of good weather. Brent took this challenge to laugh at turning 50 and to raise substantial funds for a cancer organization called First Descents. He also wrote a book following the adventure called "Divide and Conquer: 2,731 Miles Out Living It on Two Wheels." All proceeds from sale of the book are for the benefit of First Descents.
