Can colleges and universities consider race in their admissions policies? This question, with enormous importance for higher education, comes before the Supreme Court this fall in SFFA v. Harvard/UNC. Join us for a debate, in celebration of Constitution Day, between two of the nation’s leading voices on this issue: Richard H. Sander, Jesse Dukeminier Professor of Law, UCLA, and author (with Stuart Taylor) of Mismatch: How Affirmative Action Hurts Students It’s Intended to Help, and Why Universities Won’t Admit It and Randall L. Kennedy, Michael R. Klein Professor of Law, Harvard University, and author of For Discrimination: Race, Affirmative Action, and the Law.
Sponsored by the Center for Freedom & Western Civilization and the Forum on Constitutional Government.
