Colgate University will be celebrating its 202nd commencement this year.
Class of 2023 graduates will line up at 9:30 a.m.; guests should be seated by 10:15 a.m.

The ceremony runs for approximately 2½ hours. There is no dress code. Attendees are encouraged to consider the weather and wear what is comfortable for them.

Alternate In-Person Location

The ceremony will also be broadcast into the Class of 1965 Arena (no ticket needed), for guests who are coming to Hamilton but prefer remaining indoors over the outdoor stadium location (and for spillover seating should the ceremony be moved to Sanford Field house due to inclement weather). The arena is wheelchair accessible and will open at 9:00 a.m.
