Inclement Weather Update

Due to expected thunderstorms in the region, we have made the decision to move the commencement ceremony indoors to Sanford Field House. Tickets required. For guests without tickets, you can watch in the Class of 1965 Arena (wheelchair accessible; doors open at 9:00 a.m.) or at www.colgate.edu/commencement.

Colgate University will be celebrating its 201st commencement this year.
Class of 2022 graduates will line up at 9:30 a.m.; guests should be seated by 10:15 a.m.

The ceremony runs for approximately 2½ hours. There is no dress code. Attendees are encouraged to consider the weather and wear what is comfortable for them.

Live stream
We live stream the ceremony for those unable to attend in person. For guests who are coming to Hamilton but prefer remaining indoors rain or shine, the ceremony will be broadcast into the Class of 1965 Arena (no ticket needed). The facility will be wheelchair accessible and will open at 9:00 a.m.
