View map Free Event Add to calendarAttend one of two brownbag collaborations between the Center for Women's Studies and Haven for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) 2019.
This brownbag panel, moderated by Colgate alumnus Hannah O'Malley, will feature students and alumni who prompted Colgate to support survivors of sexual violence through a protest in Fall 2015, with the mottos"silence is violence" and "stories not statistics". This brown bag will kick off a general 'Collective Remembering' week dedicated to the student activism, physical and emotional labor, and honor that has launched survivor support services at Colgate. In the background of the progamming, students and alumni will create a mural dedicated to these students and survivors of sexual violence.
Lunch is provided. No RSVP is required.
