About this Event
The key to creating culturally inclusive and thriving workplaces is culturally competent communication.
The growing number of perspectives, identities, and cultures (e.g. cultural backgrounds, languages, beliefs, and practices) in the workplace can present energy, productive collaboration, innovative ideas, and united teamwork if appropriately managed. As employees, the more that we can understand and empathize with one another, and at the same time, express that understanding in a way that is culturally accepted, the more productive, meaningful, and collaborative our workplaces can be.
Come learn how we can improve our professional relationships through culturally competent communication in your department, in this session facilitated by ALANA Cultural Center Director Esther Rosbrook.
