Heading into the final weeks of summer, we are eager to meet the newest additions to Colgate's Class of 2028 from around Chicago before they begin their next chapter in Hamilton. Please consider joining us for our much-anticipated Summer Social event to meet these incoming students and their families, along with other local alumni.

About the Event:

This event tradition aims to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for the Chicagoland area incoming students and their families. We know that the transition to a new chapter in life can be both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, so we're eager to provide an opportunity for everyone to come together, build connections, and enjoy the beautiful Chicago weather before the school year begins.

What to Expect:

• An informal and friendly setting to meet fellow incoming first year students and their families, current students and other local alumni (across class years).
• Introduction and brief welcome from local alumni leaders, sharing valuable insights and words of encouragement for the journey ahead.
• An opportunity for incoming students to ask alumni questions about campus, their Colgate experience and what to expect from life on campus.
• A variety of refreshments and tasty snacks to enjoy throughout the event; alcoholic beverages will be available for individual purchase.
• Come in comfortable attire for a summer afternoon outside filled with camaraderie and fun.
