About this Event
The most widely beloved Classics Society event of the year is finally nigh.
In the 7th century BCE, Corinth invented the "black figure" style that comes to mind when we think of ancient pottery. On October 30th, we'll be taking ourselves back to 7th century Corinth to paint pumpkins rather than clay. Examples of Red Figure, Geometric, and White Ground pottery will also be provided.
In addition, the mysteriously opening and closing doors of Lawrence Hall are not the only haunted things about the Classics Society. In celebration of Halloween, we'll also be sharing a number of ancient ghost stories and scary tales about Classics and academia!
