Brown Common Coffeehouse Presents: Antje Duvekot in Concert
Brown Common Coffeehouse Music Series is incredibly fortunate to welcome Antje Duvekot, one of Boston's best singer-songwriters, to perform. Antje has eight solo albums to her credit as well as several distinguished songwriting awards, including Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition. Along with these heavyweight songwriting bona fides, she also performs and records with folk musicians like Richard Shindell, Lucy Kaplansky, Ellis Paul, Mark Erelli, and John Gorka. Critics praise her ability to craft songs about the darkest of spaces and emotions. If you are a fan of folk music, you won't want to miss this show. If you don't have a clue about folk music, Antje Duvekot will be the perfect person to give you the most intimate of introductions to the genre! You can check Antje out on Spotify.
As usual, we will have fresh coffee made with care by the FoJo Coffee Roasters and sweet treats from Flour and Salt Bakery. All items are $1 a piece.
Admission is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7:30pm!!!
