Breaking and Building Barriers: A 3-D Atomic Detail Look at Proteins Acting on Human and Pathogen Cellular Membranes
Friday, June 2, 2023 10am to 10:50am
About this Event
13 Oak Dr., Hamilton, NY 13346
Cellular membranes define the cell's boundaries. They break and form to enable processes such as communication and growth. Understanding membrane remodeling mechanisms is crucial to understand how cells work. Princeton University Professor John Jimah '08 will discuss his research on three proteins that remodel cellular membranes; studying these membrane remodeling processes should lead to interventions that improve human health.
Presented by John Jimah '08, Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology at Princeton University
